Big Boost For Dental Care In $2bn Package

Public dental services for children and concession card holders will receive a $97.2 million increase under a health package worth an extra $2 billion over the next four years. The package, announced in yesterday's budget, allocates $335 million to building works at hospitals and other health facilities, including upgrades at the Royal Melbourne, Dandenong, Echuca and Maryborough hospitals and redevelopments at nursing home and community centres.
